Each applicant must have read law for two years at least, and shall file with the clerk a certificate of good moral character, signed by two members of the bar, who are prac- ticing attorneys of this court.
Examinations for license to practice law are held on the first Monday in February and the fourth Monday in August of each year. The examinations are in writing.
Applicants must deposit with the clerk of the Supreme Court, before they are examined, the sum of $22.00 ($20.00 of which is the tax due the State and $2.00 for the printers who prepare the parchment upon which the certificate of admission to the bar is made). The money will be refunded upon failure to obtain license.
All applicants, including attorneys from other States, are required to undergo the written examinations.
